Seyran (Event)
At the annual seyran (literally translated as ‘promenade’ or ‘picnic’), organised by Turkish organisation Posküder which describes it as a ‘folkloric event’ or ‘intercultural folk festival’, people can attend live performances of traditional and popularised Turkish folk music, enjoy Turkish dishes, join in a tombola, and have their children entertained. Every year, hundreds of people from the Posof diaspora from Belgium and neighbouring countries attend the event.
